Fruity Yogurt Scones

By making this easy Yogourt Scones mix yourself.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup strawberry flavored yogurt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1 Tablspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 cup frozen or fresh coarsely chopped strawberries

Pre-heat oven 350 degrees F. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Add butter and blend with a pastry blender or a fork until it resembles coarse cornmeal. Add the yogurt and strawberries and mix gently to create dough. Pat dough into a circle about 6"-7" in diameter. Cut into quarters, and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet, an inch apart. Bake scones for approximately 15-18 minutes or until golden on top and cooked through. Serve with more strawberry jam.
